Actually there’s a great quote by Thoreau, he coined that expression: “If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.”
I love Thoreau….he’s brilliant.
Yeah me too, and I’m lucky enough to live in the midst of his stomping ground, all the mountains, and not far from Walden, where I go often.
I will have to make that journey one day!!
