I saw her in my bright red shirt she was wearing her new white pants it was a radiant display a defined girl a saddened woman no one questioned her eyes no one entered her world loneliness can be more painful than the slice of a dagger loneliness can be more devouring than flames now she is the flames for once there is life wild energy calmly undulating all within her realm all the while she passes by me in my bright red shirt new white pants a gentle spirit looking ahead seeing through the sage smoked windows

I think this is my favorite one thus far!
Thanks very much!
Awesome sauce, Sage! I agree with PJ – this one rocks.
Thanks for saying so :)
I’ve missed much I see, you’ve been busy. :) I’m glad I stopped in to catch this lovely beauty. One of your best so far, though I’m sure I will catch myself saying that again to another post in the future, LOL. ;)
Glad to have you back ;) Yes people seem to like the poems that have a story and have a fuller image of a situation rather than a concept. I’ll have to write more like this. Thanks!
Lovely
Thank you :)
Yes, definitely write more like this…..amazing! Of course everything you write is great!
Thank you! This one is pretty old, glad you like it :)
I’m amazed I’m getting back into writing poetry again as well….it’s been a long time!
Awesome, nothing like composing poetry, is there ;)
I’d forgotten how fun and freeing it is.
Absolutely :)
A nicely written piece my friend…
Thanks so much :)
You are welcome my friend… Enjoy the rest
of your evening and watch out for any wayward
looking maidens, they could be giving you one
next :) Noooooo an award I meant…
lol I don’t know, those maidens walking around with awards maybe will have an ulterior motive ;)
They usually do and quite often it leads to something rather exciting, of course it could be just a trap to lure you into a trap of wanton debauchery :)
Yes indeed go for it…
umm doesn’t sound so bad… lol
It will be fun for sure…
You can’t look out for wayward looking maidens, dearest Geoff…
THEY CREEP UP ON YOU!
Oh I do hope so ;) lmao
Enjoy your evening Noeleen :)

Yeah me too lol
Reblogged this on some serious jua kali.
“the slice of a dagger” – excellent, Sage.
Thank you, and thanks for citing my words, I love that :)
“a saddened woman
no one questioned her eyes, no one entered her world”
It reminds me someone… Someone who will die without being truly seen, without being deciphered or known…
“loneliness can be more painful than the slice of a dagger
loneliness can be more devouring than flames”
Perfect!
Well thank you, but that sounds very sad, may I ask if you’re speaking about Dolores?
Yes… and it’s about someone else too… :/
Very sad, do you want to email me about it? I don’t mind at all.
Oh, thanks, confidence booster! (I know the answer is a bit late). I’d do it if knew where and how to begin… :(
Where and how to begin what? email me? Well, I got to you first ;) and it’s sagedoyle@yahoo.com
^_^ it was about the words!
I already sent a message back! ;)
ok, thanks lol
You really ventured into her loneliness. Well done!
Thank you so much!
