Never a day to hang his head
more or less when he had to say goodbye
if it was under his control
he'd have made all the choices for her
and perhaps there would have been no pain
Here he stands a valiant man because he never made her suffer
and he knows where he is, what he has done
there is no element to his truth that stands without pride
We pass on through the days and there is no loss
nothing greater than death
or a sort of demise
Rather, all that's gone is just a cell in his body
a bit of tissue within his brain
and past loves are really just a bit of science
when you think about it
