Why when there is a sculpture self created
yet unwillingly reformed to perfection by another's hands
is there the imposition of worth for only the false creation
no worth for its own reason in being

The self form, never perfect but shaping itself continuously
never changes only manifests
content and free until involuntarily molded
thus can never reach the limits of the other's expectations

Once the cavities break in and cripple the form
another walks away, backs away, views from an opposed standpoint
as a piece of art from a different angle
no longer seeing the essence of why it is displayed
failing to know the import of its substance

The other only disregards the surface image
forgetting what was appealing
and worth enough to shape
in the beginning
