I travel and I lose my sleep
while I hold tight, courage to keep
within the waking hours when I decide
to move along and follow my tribe
until once again comes the solitary way
myself, my company, my night display
fasting onward with respite and soul
lasting longward with stories untold
bridged along from place to place
where I encounter the most disgraced
my kin the whipping boys and wharfing rats
wayward streetwise bureaucrats
until I find my path towards home
where no one awaits, where I go alone
with no bed upon which to lay these bones
as I wander amongst the meandering drones
