he was carefree but not a child
this man who embarked upon his way
and while he tread along that obscure road
he found her
silver and encrypted, corroded yet bold
and as she appealed to his need to wander
she seduced his soul
which darkened all he had to ponder
encoded with signs encircling the valid
like stepping stones sinking in the mud
of what once was a river and now was pallid
as it travels no where anymore
she brought him there with all her grace
selfish desires obscured by her pretty face
then she watched him choke on the decaying earth
like a meandering and hapless fool
blaming him for her cruelty
while claiming she was never cruel
