If I was walking through the woods
I was thinking I would not be able to see you
you look like nature
fair, delicate nature
yet it had never occurred to me
until now
I was thinking
If I was walking through the woods
I might hear you
and the sound of feathers
upon the wind
would be your name
you sound like nature
Once I walked through the woods
and I could smell the sap
I felt the leaves on my face
as I passed by
you were there
you touched my spirit like nature
though I hadn't known this until now
none of this occurred to me before now
now that I have made your acquaintance
and I believe you ought to know
you look like nature
and you soothe me
