FAY Index

This page is the shortlinks to all the “Fay” posts, listed chronologically.  It’s much easier than sorting through the archives. At this time, “Fay” is incomplete and I’ve abandoned it, sorry.  However, if anyone with a remotely twisted mind is interested in finishing it, send me an email sagedoyle@yahoo.com

“Fay” is an old story I began a long time ago.  I think it could be called a Thriller, maybe Horror, not sure.  It is a first draft, and very rough, and I dropped it because I had no idea where I was going with it, which is an unusual approach for me. I’m currently posting as I write now (also rough since I write within a day of posting with not much time to edit).  “Fay” is dark and graphic and contains violence, adult themes, and sexual content.

  1. I think you are doing very well for a new blogger–shucks even for an experienced blogger. Advice–1. Who is your blogging audience? The general blogosphere, or a segment of that population? It affects how and what you post. Is your mother reading this…Do you want some writing displayed on separate pages or a continual blog? 2. Look at other blogs and see how they are organized–what do you like? Then apply that to your blog. Sometimes there are new or revised widgets thak might be useful.

    • Thanks Alice for you advice! Basically my audience is whoever comes to read my stuff lol. I’m paying attention to what people like the most and try to shape my posts to that. For example, I find that most people like my poetry, so I post the poetry daily. I also notice that certain styles of poems are more successful than others. I’m writing under a penname so basically everyone who is following my blog is someone from online that I only know via Twitter or other blogs and writer venues. Online friends, real life strangers, as it were. I actually decided what I’m going to do with this page and I have a post tomorrow explaining my plan. Same thing with the Wall Grimm page. I just want this Fay page to be an index with the number of the “Fay” posts listed with the short links so it’s easier than digging through the archives. That way, anyone who begins to follow the story can come here for previous posts. Does that make sense? Honestly I don’t know what widgets are lol. Anyway, I think I’m heading in a good direction. Thanks for the positive feedback and your input. Always, always, always welcome. Take care Alice :) Sage

  2. Hello! Thanks for dropping by my blog and liking the post! I just read the post on Fay…and got a little worried…looking at this page though I realize that it’s fiction..so Phew! Nice writing by the way..I’ll be back to read more! :)

    • hahaa, wow sorry that you thought it was real for a bit. People often confuse Wall Grimm with me, since that’s journal formatting. Some truth in Grimm from my life, but he’s definitely written as a character. This is a first in thinking Fay was real, but you probably didn’t know what to expect when you stopped by. My blog’s poetry and fiction. Glad you visited!

      • I took a look at some of the posts and they seem interesting! You know you should but that “Email Subscription” widget up on your blog so those that want to, can be notified each time you post a blog post! Makes it easier for lazy bums like me..haha

        • Ok I think I just did it, but I don’t think it will appear for older posts, only new ones. Thanks for the suggestion! If you click the follow box in the bottom right corner and enter your email, all my new posts will come to your ‘door’. But you probably know that lol. Thanks again :)
